The Unbearable Melt is the third installment in this eco-fantasy series. I was so excited to read this one, as I have thoroughly enjoyed the previous two. The descriptive narration is immersive and pulls the reader into the story. I found it interesting that Jelly and Mori were not in this tale very much. Instead, the main characters are Gray and Taqqiq. The world-building is flawless and kept my interest as I read. The setting is in the Arctic which is perfect for talking about the environment and what happens when you don’t take care of Earth. There are many things to love about The Unbearable Melt, especially if you’re concerned about the environment. If you love eco-fantasy and romantasy, you’ll want to pick up The Unbearable Melt.
