What is Eco-fantasy?

The Laughter of the Sun series is set in today’s world, seen through the eyes of magical people and creatures who live alongside us but keep their gifts hidden.

The characters are fun and fantastical while the science is accurate at the time of writing.

Strange facts are revealed as you swim alongside a mermaid, or fly in the stone arms of a gargoyle. All of the animals can speak, and they have a lot to say.

Some readers have called my work ‘environmental romantasy.’ However you want to label it, what’s important is that you enjoy the ride!
