What is Eco Romantasy?

The Laughter of the Sun series is set in today’s world, but seen through the eyes of many magical races, all of whom stay hidden from us humans.

Of course, we’re making an absolute mess of things, and they’re working in the background to keep the planet from combusting and killing us all.

The romance side is more an exploration of relationships and how love is love, and it’s confusing and complicated no matter who is involved.

One reader referred to my books as ‘eco romantasy,’ saying they were probably the first of their kind. I latched onto that label and hope to make it a genre others will explore.
